“The Watercolor Course You’ve Always Wanted: Guided Lessons for Beginners and Experienced Artists” is written by Leslie Frontz. I wanted to improve upon my watercolor skills so I read this. Topics are good in book. It does start from some basics. In every chapter there are at least two examples. I did not follow any of the procedures mentioned in the book. I did not work on any of the examples. I just read it. I think in many place the examples are very difficult to relate to the context or the topic in discussion. Most of the book is filled with reproductions as paintings from photographs. I don’t like it much.
Rating 2/5 : Not able to relate the examples to the context strongly. The examples are very shortly explained. I thought more in depth explanation would be good.
