Book Review : The China Study

“The China Study: The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted And the Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss, And Long-term Health” is written by T. Colin Campbell, Thomas M. Campbell II. This is a book on nutrition which has been derived by author Colin Campbell from his study on the china population. Right from the onset, the author strongly indicates that the vegetarian diet is the most best way to be healthy. This he is suggesting out of his experiements and studies of other individuals. Other diet like high protein and fat, are observed to  promote cancer, diabetes, heart problems, and other major illness. The food and diary industry, in order to mint money have brain washed the public in buying processed products. He recommends whole foods as compared to refined, with many greens and a variety of vegetables.

Rating: 4/5. This seems to be informative and a bold book as it does condemn the authories in misguiding the public and modifying research data. A disappointment for those who are accustomed to non-veg diet.
