“The Laws of Medicine: Field Notes from an Uncertain Science” is wrtten by Siddhartha Mukherjee. I have listened to the audio version of this book. Its a very short book of around 2 hours of listening. The author seems to be very much influenced by the book “The Youngest Science”. It has 3 laws of medicine that author has discovered and has guided him throughtout his career. 1st law – Trusting intuition is better in some cases than examination. 2nd law – normal patient teach rules whereas outliers teach laws. 3rd law – For every experiment there is a bias.
Rating: 3/5. Not much discussion on all aspects of the laws. Very less example but seem to be solid laws.
